I AM HAVING SO MUCH FUN these days, playing with ideas that I've pulled aside over the last months. It's wonderful to actually have (take) the time to put my own touch on them.
This is a very simple Thank You (or anything you might want) card using the splatter image from the first month of the My Paper Pumpkin subscription.
First I decided on my colors, using the new Color Coach:
I scribbled, as best I could, on the splatter image from the first month's offering of My Paper Pumpkin. No matter when you sign up for My Paper Pumpkin, available monthly by subscripton, you will always receive these stamps in your first shipment---along with card stock, envelopes and embellishments.
After stamping, cleaning the stamp, re-marking, stamping, cleaning the stamp......4 times, I achieved the splatter look that I wanted.
Then I chose the Thank You stamp from the Sassy Salutations set and stamped it, using Jet Black StazOn ink and Whisper White card stock (3-7/8" x 5-1/8"), right on top of the splatters.
But wait, let's add it to a layer (4" x 5-1/4") of Basic Black card stock:
But wait for this final special treatment! Let's add the Bermuda Bay card base!
At Stampin' Up!'s Convention, in a few weeks, attendees will be receiving the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. I'm going to love it and I'll enjoy making another incarnation of this card using the splatters from Gorgeous Grunge.
Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you tomorrow. :)
