Yes, it's very Eggcellent indeed. The sun is shining, snow is melting again, and I got to stamp and create yesterday. I'm having fun right now playing with the Eggcellent Egg Kit that you can find right in the middle of the Occasions Mini Catalog, p. 23. The kit isn't limited to egg stands, although they are super cute. Be watching the next few days as I share a few more ideas. One of my favorite things in the kit is the 6" x 6" sheet filled with strips of different sized adhesive backed bling. It doesn't show up too well in the photo on the page but it's nice and sparkly!
Today project is oh-so-simple. You need a large Glassine Bag, found on page 19 of the Occasions Mini. They come in three sizes:
- Small Square Envelopes, 2" x 2", 117226, 20 envelopes for $4.95
- Rectangle envelopes, 2-1/2" x 4-1/4", 117227, 20 envelopes for $5.95
- Bags, 4-3/4" x 6-3/4", 25 bags for $6.50
To create this bag, all you need to do is select the rub-ons from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit that you'd like to use, carefully cut them from the sheet, position them on the Glassine Bag and rub them on with the popsicle stick. Fill the bag with the candy of your choice and tie it shut with an 18" piece of 5/8" satin ribbon (see p. 27 of the Occasions Mini for a selection of colors). I used Certainly Celery, 117288, 15 yards/$8.95.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
