Do you want to feel like you're back in a Junior or Senior High School English class? Did you love to write poetry as much as I did? (Not). Well, I challenge you to write a stamping limerick and post it in a comment below. This is a contest and the winner will be selected next Tuesday, March 16th.
I was clueless as to how to begin writing a limerick when I started this post (true statement) so I started with a Google search. I checked out these three websites:
ehow http://www.ehow.com/how_3332_write-limerick.html
gigglepoetry http://www.gigglepoetry.com/POETRYCLASS/limerickcontesthelp.html
poetryamerica http://www.poetryamerica.com/Limerick.asp
But, I managed and here's mine:
THERE WAS ONCE A STAMPER NAMED BLYTHE
WHO WAS HAVING THE TIME OF HER LIFE.
SHE STAMPED ALL DAY LONG
AS SHE SANG A LOVE SONG:
"I LOVE WHAT I'M DOING ALL RIGHT!"
Please don't judge me by my writing skill. But it was fun. I can't believe (but maybe you can) that I wrote this ditty in less than ten minutes. I took a little bit of tips from each of the websites above and the rest is history.

We'll be back to Tuesday's Tool next week. In the meantime, I can't wait to read some of your limericks!

Like the stamp, the old limerick, hark,
May seem small in both bite and its bark.
But both, though they're fleeting,
Bring the heartiest greeting
And in their own way make their mark!
